Twelve ateliers, named

We print the name of the workshop on every tag. Meet the twelve families and small teams who actually make Buryn.

Buryn does not own a factory. We work with twelve small ateliers across Portugal, Italy and Denmark, most of them family-run, most of them older than the founders’ parents.

Why we name them

Every tag carries the name and town of the workshop that made the piece. It keeps us honest, and it means the people who cut, stitch and finish get credit on the garment itself.

If we are proud of the work, the maker’s name should be on it. Simple as that.

Who they are

  • Oficina Mota, Porto — leather goods and small bags.

  • Lanificio Serra, Biella — knitwear and coating.

  • Atelier Holm, Aarhus — tailoring and outerwear.

  • Fonderia Lume, Lisbon — rings and hardware.

The full list lives in the studio in Vesterbro, framed next to the cutting table. Come and read it.
